Description:	This is one of 4 "smart" bicycle helmets in the "road" category from Sena, based in Irvine, CA. This is the EVO version of the R-1. Others are R-1 (base model), R-2, and R-2 EVO. The R-1 EVO has all of the features of the R-1 base model: speakers and a mic built-in so you can communicate with fellow riders and activate functions with voice commands. How It Works:	The standard intercom system supports up to 4 riders simultaneously as far as 900 meters (0.5 mile) away. The MESH intercom system on EVO models supports a limitless number of riders and can extend up to 3.6 km (2.0 miles) when a minimum of 6 riders are using it. Connectivity utilizes Bluetooth 4.1. Audio is built-in CODEC. Battery is lithium polymer. Charging time is 2.0 hours.
