Exercise and Coronary Artery Disease
Heart disease (all types) is the #1 cause of death in adults in the US. One type -- coronary artery disease -- is highly preventable by adopting a good diet and performing aerobic exercise (even brisk walking works) regularly. Resistance exercise (weight-lifting) is not effective.
