Description: This is a personalized hollow fiber membrane filter. It does not utilize iodine or chlorine. It does not contain a charcoal filter. Removes bacteria (E. coli) and parasitic protozoa (cryptosporidia, Giardia), but not viruses (hepatitis A). Not to be used for drinking salt water, or, water contaminated with chemicals or pesticides. May not be effective in a "dense coliform environment" such as near large agricultural operations.
Filter Pore Size: 0.2 microns: filters bacteria and parasitic protozoa, but not viruses. Also removes microplastics.

How It Works: Place one end directly into the body of water and drink through it just like a straw. After drinking, blow air through it to prevent the filter from clogging.
